Sunshine Manor - Oceanfront Retreat

Overall a very nice stay. The Condo was very nice and the location can’t be beat.

Unfortunately this whole experience was a true disappointment! One of the guest beds was very noisy and the mattress was old and uncomfortable. Although they tried to fix it, the mattress was just worn out, and the linens and mattress covers were ill fitting. The street facing bedrooms do not have adjustable shades, only black out curtains - impossible to comfortably adjust them for light. The carpet in the master bedroom is worn out and stained. Some of the blankets were dirty, and one had blood stains. Bathrooms are not updated. The grout has mildew! The bathtub nonslip shower mats were black with mildew, although they replaced them at my request. There were baby roaches in the master bed and one of the bathrooms. Their excuse was that it had been raining and they placed roach bait throughout the condo. Some of the cooking pans were greasy and some had rust! The blender is plastic, poor quality and does not blend well. Parking was an issue. Although you get 2 parking spaces at street level and 2 spots in the underground garage the neighbors and visitors occupy most of the street level spots. I could not use the underground garage spaces as my mother’s mobility was compromised and she couldn’t use the stairs. The neighbor next door harassed me because he said I was not allowed to open the main doors that face the ocean. The management company had actually opened them for me! The owner and this company’s goal is not cleanliness and comfort. I gave it 1 star because the access to the beach is great! I was otherwise very disappointed in this rental unit.

These inspections could not validate the reported claims of blood-stained blankets, mildew in the bathrooms, or other concerns described in your review. Nonetheless, we carefully reviewed all feedback with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure our standards continue to be met. The property provides the parking accommodations advertised in the listing, including both street-level and garage spaces. While we understand that individual mobility needs may affect parking preferences, the available parking and property layout are accurately described prior to booking. We are also sorry to hear about your interaction with a neighboring resident, I’m not sure what we could have done as that situation was outside of our control. Guest feedback is important to us, and we remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for future guests.

My husband and I had a great time staying in this great place with a perfect view of the Atlantic ocean. Every room in the apartment is set up thoughtfully with all needs. I say - luxury stay.
